This quarter’s Yarn for Book Club is inspired by Dream State by Eric Puchner.
Designed to reflect the book’s themes, we dyed skeins of Bear Paw DK and Bear Paw Sock to invoke all things Dream State. A few Projects came to mind when dying up this yarn for both weights.
Candice thought the The Edinburgh Sweater by Cheryl Mokhtari was very reflective of the Western Montana vibes. Made out of Lakeborn and Ranch Romance she knit a size 2 for a 38'' bust. She shortened the sleeves with a modified quick decrease at the cuff. We have added a quick guide for this pattern, however please be mindful that we calculated the yardage the best we could, as the pattern only lists how many grams of the yarn the designer used. If you are between sizes or want to make it longer please purchase an additional skein.
If you're in the mood for a smaller project, Mini Tassels by Karin Fernandes works really well with Bear Paw Sock. Making these mini tassels with Karin's method was super fun!
