Quarter 2 of Knitpro 2023 is all about colorwork.  Learn stranded colorwork while making the Hillsdale hat in this 2 part class.  The Hillsdale hat is made using 2, high contrasting, DK weight yarns.  This class is perfect for anyone who has taken Learn to Knit and Knitting Beyond Basics or anyone who wants to learn stranded colorwork.  

Materials needed: 

• 2 skeins of DK weight yarn (Bear Paw DK or Pishkun recommended).  One color should be light and one should be dark
• Size 6 16" circular needles
• Size 6 DPN's, or circulars long enough to magic loop
• 14 stitch markers, plus 1 unique marker
• Tapestry needles
  
• Your knitting kit
• Please have the brim of you hat + 2" of stockinette knit prior to class so that you can get right into colorwork.  If you need any help preparing to class, please come into the shop ahead of time.

• Please arrive at class on time. Supplies, including book or pattern, must be purchased prior to class date. Especially if you need to have your yarn wound.
• Come prepared! We want to make the most of our classroom time.
