The 4th quarter of Knitpro is learning to knit sweaters and we are kicking it off with the Northwood Sweater by Jessie Maed Designs. This v-neck is knit from the top down, working flat, and picking up stitches for the fronts and simultaneously shaping the v-neck. The sweater is joined to work in the round. You will pick up stitches to add the v-neck ribbing and finish the shaping. The sleeves are picked up and knit in the round. This sweater can be knit solid or striped, making it completely customizable. If you’ve never knit a sweater or looking to expand your knitting knowledge this class will be perfect for you!
You will learn to pick the sweater size based on your gauge, how to pick up stitches, use German short rows, and create a v-neck sweater.
