An asymmetrical triangle shawl knit on the bias, with textural stripes of Prairie Brioche Lace and Two-Color Brioche. This is a fantastic pattern to learn brioche increases and decreases.

This asymmetrical triangle shawl is knit on the bias from cast on tip to bind off edge. The shawl begins at the cast on tip immediately with Prairie Brioche Lace to get you started on learning brioche increases and decreases. The shawl shaping is done by increasing 4 sts on the right edge, while simultaneously decreasing 2 sts on the left edge. The triangle shape grows gradually while creating beautiful stripes at an angle. Textural stripes alternate between the brioche lace and even two-color brioche. I have designed this shawl to be knit in a multitude of ways! You can knit either the Small or Large size using only 2 colors throughout, letting the textural stripes shine. Or you can knit the Large size using 4 different colors like my sample, creating colorful stripes as well as the textural stripes.
