Description

The Western Red Cedar is one of the most prevalent tree species in my native home state of Oregon. The scientific name Thuja plicata literally means “folded in plaits” or “braided,” referencing the braid-like pattern on each of the tiny needles. This served as the inspiration for this cap’s Latvian braided detail. This cap was designed to keep the wearers’ ears toasty whether walking to work on a misty morning in the city, or by the campfire on a chilly evening under the stars.
