A Pattern Guide to Gathering Season :: Harvest
There’s something about fall that makes us want to cast on something new. The layers, the textures, the colors, the excuse to spend a little more time with our knitting. Our Harvest chapter of Gathering Season is all about the pieces we want to reach for as the days get shorter and the air gets a little crisper.
From cozy cables to thoughtful textures and a little ruffle here and there, we’ve gathered a few patterns from some amazing designers that feel perfect for this time of year. Whether you’re ready to cast on a new sweater or just looking for a little inspiration for your next project, consider this a sign for your fall knitting.

This stranded colorwork sweater inspired by the final flowers of the season, is knit from the top down with slightly oversized, bracelet-length sleeves. Knit with Pishkun and Oh Dang! held double as the CC, it’s a fitting addition to our Harvest chapter as we ease into cooler days and the last blooms of fall. If you’re not into fuzz, only 1 skein of Pishkun is needed for the CC in all sizes, find a quick guide in the Lilting Blooms Kit Listing.
