Thank you for your patience as we restock Confluence! This base is special in many ways, but mostly because of the mill where it is made. This mill values are to support local farmers with small to medium clips. While they love making Confluence for FDF, they are limited. We will restock again in mid December (maybe sooner!). Thank you again supporting FDF and the American Wool Industry. 

Confluence is currently a preorder that will ship mid November.

A few important things to note about Confluence, this base is very challenging to dye and especially at the volumes we are dying it at in small pots. With small batch dying, you will see variations from batch to batch. So if you are matching colors from a batch back in July, there is a chance you will see a variation. You may also see a slight difference from the photo on the pre-order to what you recieve. Our team does everything they can to create consistency but at the end of the day we are a small artisan dye company. 🤎 

With the help of Green Mountain Spinnery we have created a dreamy Cotton, Targhee, Rambouillet fingering weight yarn. Don't let the cotton fool you. Confluence skips that squeaky, stiff feel you might expect. It's light in the hand, strong and sturdy enough to wear hard, and it blooms into something incredibly soft once you wash and block it. This is a yarn that just keeps getting better, wear after wear. It has quickly jumped the ranks as a FDF fan fav!

Heads up, you might spot some vegetable matter in this skein. Don't worry, that's expected. Sheep are living animals out living their sheep lives, and while the mills do their best, a bit of earth occasionally makes it through. It's easy to pick out, and it's a small, honest reminder that this came from a real flock. 🐑
