The DRK Everyday Saddle by Andrea Mowry is the kind of wardrobe staple you'll reach for again and again. This clever top-down design combines elements of a saddle shoulder and drop shoulder construction, creating beautiful lines, a comfortable fit, and an engaging knit from cast on to bind off. One of our favorite features of top-down sweaters is the ability to try them on as you knit. Whether you're looking for your next everyday sweater or a relaxing project with thoughtful construction details, the DRK Everyday Saddle is sure to earn a permanent place in your handmade wardrobeFor this design and kit, Andrea paired The Farmer's Daughter Fibers Confluence with Oh Dang! held together, for a fabric that is lightweight, airy, and incredibly wearable. The wool-cotton blend of Confluence, a beautiful blend of 80% Targhee/Rambouillet wool and 20% cotton, 250 yds. provides structure and breathability. While the suri silk of Oh Dang!, a buttery soft blend of 74% Suri Alpaca, 26% Silk, 328 yards/50g adds texture and a dreamy glow to every stitch.

Inspired by the place where rivers meet, Confluence brings together the best qualities of both fibers. The 80% wool provides warmth, elasticity, and beautiful stitch definition, while the 20% cotton lends softness, breathability, and a subtle rustic character that feels grounded in the landscapes we call home.

Important Notes

- Confluence is our most challenging yarn to dye, our small batches will vary and while we always guarantee matching skeins, you will find this yarn to be tonal and vary from batch to batch (basically, please get enough of your MC and don't play yarn chicken on this one). Thank you for appreciating our hand dyed yarn!
- In Confluence you might spot some vegetable matter. Don't worry, that's expected. Sheep are living animals out living their sheep lives, and while the mills do their best, a bit of earth occasionally makes it through. It's easy to pick out, and it's a small, honest reminder that this came from a real flock.

The pattern is NOT included and must be purchased separately from Andrea Mowry here.

The kit includes the required quantity of Confluence and Oh Dang! to create the "Standard version" for your selected size.

Please be sure to choose your kit and size from the drop down menu to ensure you pick the right option. Clicking through the pictures will not guarantee you select the right option.
