Description

Moonshiner is a triangular shawl knit from the top down featuring a repeating pattern of lace with bobbles and just a little bit of colorwork (using both stranded and slipped stitches) . A graphic grid border design worked in an easy slip stitch pattern and clean i-cord edge helps to balance the delicate lace in a way that really appeals to me.

I was inspired by the colors of Alaska in the fall- it is so moody and beautiful.

Designer’s sample was knit out of: Recollect Sport in Sunny's and Salmonberry.

FDF's sample was knit out of: Recollect Sport in J. Rankin and Moonshine Lake.

Recommended Needle Size: US 64.0 mm- 32-40”80-100 cm circular needle
