The Morning Star Cowl was originally designed for our 2021 Celestial Countdown. A combo of an odd number of mini skeins and 1 full size skein. The story of Iipissoōwa”tsis and Morning Star is one of my favorite Blackfeet creation stories. You can find a version of the story here. The cowl is knit in the round!

Samples were made with Squish Fingering Full Skein and 11 Minis or Pintler DK Full Skein and 11 Minis.

Recommended Needle Size: US 3 - 3.25 mm
