Designed by Kelley Spurlock of Kelley Jo Knits (formerly Terrain Knits), the Bitterroot Pullover is a stunning all-over colorwork sweater inspired by Montana's beloved state flower. The bitterroot is known for its resilience, thriving across the mountains and valleys of the western United States and Canada, transforming rugged landscapes with vibrant blooms each spring. Rich in cultural significance for many Indigenous communities, the bitterroot plant has long been cherished for both its beauty and sustenance.

This kit is a PREORDER.

Preorder ends September 23, 2026 and kits will ship early to mid October.

This top-down raglan pullover captures the spirit of the flower with striking colorwork motifs knit entirely in the round. Thoughtfully graded with size-specific charts and shaping, Bitterroot offers a comfortable, flattering fit across a wide range of sizes.

Knit in four colors of our Pishkun yarn - 100% Non-Superwash MT & WY Rambouillet, 255 yards/100g. This sweater showcases the depth and richness of colorwork while remaining enjoyable to knit. From the beautifully detailed yoke to the charming puffed sleeves, every stitch celebrates craftsmanship and creativity.

** This kit is comprised of 7 to 11 dreamy skeins (depending on your size) of Farmers Daughter Fibers Pishkun yarn.
