As one of four featured designs in our Gathering Season: Migration collection,, the Returning Seasons Hat designed by Lindsey Fowler aka Larkspur Knits, celebrates the quiet rhythm of returning home. Just as birds follow familiar paths through changing skies, this thoughtfully designed hat reflects the comfort found in traditions, familiar places, and the seasons that call us back again and again.

Knit from the bottom up, the pattern features a cozy double brim with a hidden 3 x 2 ribbed lining in a contrasting color, a beautiful stranded floral motif, and a striking Vikkel braid that transitions into a simple stockinette body and softly rounded crown.

Designed using 2 skeins of our Soka'pii, 100% Non-Superwash MT & WY Rambouillet, 248 yards / 50g, 1 MC (main color) and 1 CC (contrast color), this hat showcases crisp colorwork while creating a warm, breathable fabric you'll reach for throughout the cooler months. With six sizes ranging from children to adults, it's perfect for knitting matching family hats, thoughtful gifts, or simply casting on a meaningful seasonal project.
