Now that the country is starting to open again, we are seeing visitors from all parts. Great Falls is a great place to fly into or stop for a day or two if your traveling through the state. Almost directly central to Montana you find yourself about 2 to 3 hours away from every popular MT destination. The beauty of central Montana is a bit hidden and secret. Many people will pass through, missing the gems that lie around the area. You will find some of the best sunsets, hikes, fishing, and of course yarn! But it's the people who make the community so unique. Whenever you're in Montana; make sure to take the time to smile, say hi, and visit the locals. Here is where you will find the true heart of Montana.
We have made a list of our favorite places to eat, shop, and explore if you find yourself with some extra time here. This is a small list of places (none of them sponsored), so if your coming into Great Falls to visit Farmer's Daughter Fibers please don't hesitate to reach out for more recommendations!

Hi, I was just browsing the FDF website and am loving what I see. We are thinking of a camping trip in the near future and I’m thinking Great Falls could be an awesome destination. Do you know of any national parks or possible camping areas in the vicinity? We’d be coming from Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Thanks. Janet

Thank you for doing this! Your shop is on my bucket list when I retire next year! So I appreciate all the information for the area!
