Is this the year you finally learn how to crochet? Or maybe you know how to crochet, but really want to level up your granny square game? This is the class built for anyone to learn!

Skills: Beginners will learn everything they need to know to get making granny squares including making a starting chain, double and single crochet, as well as reading a pattern and weaving in your ends. Students will also have the opportunity to learn how to seam their squares together, learn a variety of different stitches such as popcorn stitch, puff stitch, clean color changes, and get comfortable reading crochet charts!

Every class features a beginner friendly square, an adventurous beginner square, and an intermediate square. Join us for as many or as few as you like!

Supplies: Each student will need the Original Granny Square Card Deck, one of the Class Mini Skein Packs, and a 4.00 mm crochet hook. The pack has enough yarn to make all 15 granny squares. Make sure to purchase your yarn pack along with the classes you would like to sign up for! You can purchase the Granny Square Card Deck and Crochet Hook online or in-store when you get to class 🥰

Class 1: Wednesday, January 14th @ 5:30 to 7:30pm

  • Squares to choose from - #1 Basic, #2 Single Color, & #24 Popcorn Center

Class 2: Wednesday, January 28th @ 5:30 to 7:30pm

  • Squares to choose from - #4 Solid, #11 Mitered, & #16 Block Stitch

Class 3: Wednesday, February 11th @ 5:30 to 7:30pm

  • Squares to choose from - #15 Mixed, #27 Granny Star Circle, & #9 Half and Half Solid

Class 4: Wednesday, February 25th @ 5:30 to 7:30pm

  • Squares to choose from - #18 Circle to Square, #19 Granny Circle to Square, & #21 Puff Circle to Square

Class 5: Wednesday, March 11th @ 5:30 to 7:30pm

  • Squares to choose from - #13 Stripe, #14 Diagonal Stripe, & #23 Popcorn Corners.

 

CLASS POLICY 
  • - Payment must be paid in full to reserve your place.
  • -  In the event that you need to cancel, you must provide us with notice 48 hours in advance to receive a refund or store credit.
  • - No shows will forfeit the class fee, without a refund or credit. 
  • - Please arrive to class on time. Supplies, including book or pattern, must be purchased prior to class date. Especially if you need to have your yarn wound. 
  • - Come prepared! We want to make the most of our classroom time.
