A lined hat, with one pattern providing two different options for the outside of the hat. You choose between the knit side with purled ridges, or the purl side with knit valleys. Then, the inside is lined with a luscious alpaca/silk blend. A stretchy, warm hat, the sizing is very accommodating, and sits comfortably on your head.

It’s recommended that you be frugal with your Recollect, as the pattern uses the entire skein. So if you have some left over from another project, you could do your swatching with that. Otherwise you might consider purchasing 2 skeins of the Recollect. The lining can be tacked down at the crown, but I haven’t found that to be necessary.
