Our Matchmaker Sets are thoughtfully paired combinations of Spincycle Yarns Dyed in the Wool and coordinating Fuzz mini skeins (choose between Mighty Mo or Oh Dang). These sets are designed to take the guesswork out of pairing and give you that effortless-but-wow finished look.

Why We Love Them

Dyed in the Wool a Sport Weight (even leaning toward Fingering Weight), 100% SW American Wool, 200 yards per skein is spun and dyed to create long, dreamy color transitions. When you pair it with a strand of Fuzz, something really special happens. Depth, texture, and color all come alive in a way that feels totally unique to you.

There are a couple of ways to play:

Go with the flow: Knit straight from the ball of Dyed in the Wool and swap your Fuzz strand as the colors shift.

Create your own palette (our favorite): Hand-wind sections of Dyed in the Wool into mini balls and treat them like paint. Pair each section with its own coordinating Fuzz for a truly custom colorwork moment.

Instead of investing in multiple full skeins, these mini sets give you the flexibility to experiment, play, and create without the extra cost.

  • Two skeins of Spincycles Dyed in the Wool (Please note these skeins can vary, we will give you 2 that match best together)
  • Your choice of Oh Dang! or Mighty Mo mini skeins (5-6) in one of a kind matchmaker colors.

You can get your coordinating fluff in either 

• Mohair Mini's, 64% Kid Mohair; 36% Silk , for some shine

  • Each Mini Skein is 183yds per 20g
  • Lace Weight

OR

• Oh Dang!, 74% Suri Alpaca, 26% Silk for a more classic matte look.

  • Each Mini Skein is 131 yards/20g
  • Heavy Lace Weight

Both add that signature “fuzz” factor, just with a slightly different vibe.

Kits do come with different amounts of minis, we went off of what we thought would be best for each batch of Spincycle.
