Recollection Wrap is a “kite construction” oversized shawl, that begins with the cast-on of just a handful of stitches. Strategically placed increases and decreases create this unique shape as the shawl grows. For this design, I selected a variety of colors that complement each other with varying degrees of contrast (some with very subtle contrast and some with more dramatic contrast) making for a playful FO. Recollection Wrap is worked in an Interrupted Garter Stitch 4-Row pattern throughout, transitioning from one stripe to the next with flowing color overlap.
