Farmer's Daughter Fibers' first design, Assookinakii (ass-s-oo-kin-uh-k-EE) means “healer” in the Blackfeet language. A big part of SU is embracing the healing journey. This pattern is meant for you to let go of your worries, stress, and tension to enjoy a simple but engaging pattern. Through knitting we mend what troubles our hearts.

Tips and Tricks :

The pattern was originally designed out of Soka'pii, Dyed in the Wool, and Oh Dang! for the optional liner. Other great options for this cowl are Squish Fingering and Spinster's Daughter Sport. You can also use mini skeins or stash yarn to make the stripes out of whatever sport or fingering weight you have!
