Description
Dolly’s Wildflowers Sweater is worked from the top down and is seamless. It has a relaxed fit. The yoke is worked in garter stitch; giving it a unique woven quality. The back neck is raised by incorporating short rows.
This sweater was inspired by a podcast that I binge-listened to last June with my family called “Dolly Parton’s America” and my love for working with Soka’pii yarn from The Farmer’s Daughter Fibers in Montana.
Garter stitch calls forward all kinds of good texture in this soft, single ply yarn. It makes a totally squishy fingering weight garment that you’ll love to wear and to give.
Designer sample was made out of: Soka'pii (Werther's OG, Horse Belly, Moonshine Lake, Sunday Mimosa, Bison Princess)
Recommended Needle Size: US 3 (3.25 mm), US 4 (3.5 mm)
Yarns that we recommend using are:
Soka'pii
